Your environment deeply impacts how you feel. I am most passionate about creating home and commercial environments that help people feel better. My design style is whimsical, masterfully colorful, with echoes of retro. I love historic buildings, rough edges, and believe abstraction and imperfections make a space more interesting, so I never strive for perfection in any of my design work. I strive for FEELING! For helping people feel at home, feel compelled to stay, and feel safe to feel.
I am most skilled in creating palettes and moods for spaces, curating unique furniture and decor, and making spaces look like no one else's spaces.
My primary motivation in all my interior work is to make anyone who walks in feel like they have gone somewhere safe, kind, and special.
A great deal of my interior work has been through Gospel Inc., a local non-profit in Lakeland. Their mission is to house people who are chronically homeless, and I am able to partner with them to design custom spaces for each resident. When moving in, we discuss their favorite colors, styles, and hobbies - and I create a custom forever home based on their preferences. It is an honor!
I have worked designing both commercial and residential spaces - but always strive to make a unique experience for anyone who walks inside.
